  • Dark Cloud GameSpot Impressions (September 21st, 1999)
    • Imagine the Landmake system from Legend of Mana (where you basically take little bits of land and create your own custom world), but in full 3D withmuch more ability for customization.

    • Sony's answer to Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series is light on the adventure elements and heavy on the dungeon crawling, making it much more straightforward than the franchise it attempts to mimic.

  1. Favorite games of all time and this even made me more hype to play it again! Was a fun read through and the flash game is fun and can be played on mobile which is awesome still!

  2. This was one of the first games I played when I was a kid and I never made it past the first few levels of the dungeon - I couldn't ever beat that first QTE! It felt like a huge journey to get there and I failed it every time. It's fun to look at all of this and take myself back to that time.
